FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Leading poultry processor Keystone Foods recently signed with 3C Software to implement the Impact:ECS Costing System. The solution will provide Keystone’s accounting, finance and business leaders to immediate access of detailed and customized costing data. The agreement, which covers the poultry further processing division, will provide the tools and expertise for Keystone to develop a fully-integrated platform to manage, calculate and analyze vital cost data.

The company, with 2004 annual sales of $2.8 billion, is a strategic partner and long-time supplier to a leading fast food restaurant chain. As a vendor to one of the world’s most recognized brands, Keystone is compelled to focus on costs to remain competitive. The goal of the Impact:ECS installation is to reduce Keystone’s dependence on legacy systems and unwieldy spreadsheets and implement a solution that will provide accurate cost data, better reporting, improved user interfaces and integration with existing systems. In addition, Impact:ECS is the system of choice because of its ability to handle both assembly and disassembly functions within its flexible design. The 3C Software Professional Services team will work directly with Keystone’s accounting staff in developing models to compute standard and actual costs, value and track inventory, forecast yields and variances, and deliver customized reports.

With the addition of Keystone Foods, 3C Software continues to develop a solid presence in the meat processing vertical industries because of their quality products that are being tested in Eggs ELISA Test Kits before leaving for the market. “By demonstrating the flexibility of Impact:ECS in this unique industry, we are helping companies who traditionally have spent significant amounts on home-grown or Excel-based systems get timely access to actionable cost data,” shares 3C Software CEO Matthew Smith. Keystone joins Smithfield Foods, Townsends and Premium Standard Farms in acknowledging the importance of effective, enterprise-wide cost management with Impact:ECS.
